Learning Through Play
The purpose is to expose children to quality content of Qecho, which is selected by parents. When children listen to Qecho, they imitate what they are listening. This is a natural behaviour for children, which stimulates learning. Parents will note shortly that the child is repeating same sentences or dua as Qecho, and you will discover as well, that Qecho has become the child’s best buddy.
Do introduce Qecho to a child in early age to get advantage of fast learning – Qecho is CE approved from 10 months’ age.
Sadaqah Jariyah
Charity is a central theme of Islam, and there are various obligatory and voluntary types of charity that Muslims engage with. One voluntary mode of charity is Sadaqah Jariyah, which is a gesture that continues to give over a long period of time.
Since it’s such an integral feature of Islam, there are a number of Hadiths about Sadaqah Jariyah. For instance, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him.”(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1631)
Alhamdolillah , we are very humbled, while sharing, that many customers have bought Qecho for children in a nursery or to families and relatives in bulk, with the intention of children learning about islam and the intention of doing it to please Allah. May Allah accept their intentions, Ameen.
Playing and learning with toys according to Islam..
Can children play with Toy looking like bird(owl/parrot) according to Islam?
There are various hadith on this topic, e.g. Sahih Muslim(Vol 6, Hadith no. 6287) and Sahih al-Bukhari(Vol. 8, Hadith no. 6130):
Aisha(RA) narrated:
“I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. “
By the hadith we come to know, that it is evident, that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) didn’t object to play with toys. In islam it is permitted for children to play with toys to learn.
Toys in shape of animal is also permitted for children to play with; Sunan Abu Dawud(43:160):
Aisha(RA) narrated:
“The Prophet said, “O Aisha, what is this?” Aisha said, “My dolls.” Among them was a horse with wings made of rags, so the Prophet said, “What is this I see?” Aisha said, “A horse,” The Prophet said, “What is this on it?” Aisha said, “Two wings.” The Prophet said, “A horse with two wings?” Aisha said, “Have you not heard that Solomon had horses with two wings?” The Prophet laughed so deeply that his molar teeth could be seen.”
